If you are experiencing connection problems with XRHealth’s web platforms or VR headsets, start by checking these two common causes.
1. Check the Product URLs
For XRHealth web platforms and VR headsets to function properly, the following URLs must be accessible:
These URLs are managed by AWS, and their IP addresses may vary based on time and geographic location.
How to check if they are blocked
On a computer connected to the same Wi-Fi as the headset, open a web browser.
Copy one of the URLs above and paste it into the browser’s address bar.
-
Check the result:
✅ If the page opens (even if blank or simple text), the URL is accessible.
❌ If you receive an error like “Site can’t be reached”, the URL may be blocked.
If URLs are blocked
Ask your IT or network team to whitelist the domains listed above.
⚠️ Important: Because the IPs may change, whitelisting must be done using domain names, not IP addresses.
2. Fix the MAC Address Setting
By default, Meta Quest headsets use MAC address randomization.
This causes the headset to appear as a new device every time it connects, which can create issues on secured business networks.
How to fix it
Put on the headset.
From the Launcher screen, click the Wi-Fi icon.
Select your Wi-Fi network.
Scroll down and click Privacy.
Select Use Device MAC.
After changing this setting, the headset will use a consistent MAC address, improving connection stability.
